My husband stands at the foot of our bed, tie loosened, feet shifting—sore from standing 14 hours at the restaurant. I am in the same place I have been all day: bed. Adrenal Fatigue has taken over our lives for the last year. In the small glow of my bedside lamp I see his concerned eyes.“Take as long as you need to get better.” he says, and means it. I hear his familiar tread down the stairs, water turning on and dishes clattering. I sleep in the warm cocoon of his arms and wake to a sparkling kitchen.
Note: I have since healed from Adrenal Fatigue but that is a post for another day.
Another note: Scott is pictured above with his mother. We all know when a human being turns out this amazing there is probably an amazing parent/parents standing behind them. Thanks Barbara and Charlie.
