Hundred Word Heros: Buffy Stinchfield

Hundred Word Heros: Buffy Stinchfield

“No puddles!” shouts my cross fit instructor. She ‘s referring to wiping our sweat off the floor before moving to the next station. But I stop mid-jumping jack, worried about a different type of leakage. A Depends ad I saw in a magazine pops into my head, “for the 51 million women who need a different kind of underwear, there’s Depends.” 51 million?!

My friend Buffy Stinchfield has a different message. “You’re not broken.” She declares, and goes on to explain that these are MUSCLE issues and muscles can be strengthened. She is a physical therapist with an expertise in incontinence with exercise and activity, rehab after bladder surgery, and pelvic pain.  Buffy recently opened Pinnacle Therapeutics with a mission to educate and rehabilitate women with these issues and has had massive success. 100 percent of women who have gone through her therapy program have seen a dramatic improvement. Thank you Buffy, for the increase in strength and decrease in puddles!
